BMSEED Awarded $568,982 Phase I SBIR from NINDS

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke awarded a $568,982 Phase I SBIR to BMSEED for the development of a large area high resolution micro ECoG electrode array (pictured above). BMSEED’s micro ECoG aims to provide more improved methods for research on how the brain operates. Specifically, the tool will improve brain machine interfaces (BMIs) to aid amputees and paralyzed patients and improve clinical outcomes in epilepsy surgery by providing the neurosurgeon more accurate information about the location of seizure activity.
