Glass Multielectrode Arrays (gMEA)

MultiElectrode Arrays are Consumables for MEASSuRE: View Catalog

BMSEED's rigid glass multielectrode arrays (gMEAs) provide high-quality extracellular electrophysiological recording and electrical stimulation for a wide range of in vitro neuroscience, cardiac, and drug discovery applications. Manufactured on a durable glass substrate, these MEAs deliver excellent signal stability, reproducible performance, and a reliable surface for long-term cell culture.

Available with 60 or 124 microelectrodes, BMSEED gMEAs are ideal for recording the electrical activity of neurons, cardiomyocytes, brain slices, and other excitable tissues.

Key Features

  • Available in 60-channel and 124-channel configurations

  • High-quality extracellular recording and electrical stimulation

  • Durable glass substrate for stable, reproducible experiments

  • Recording areas ranging from 1.43 mm to 2.23 mm

  • 200 µm interelectrode spacing for high spatial resolution

  • Suitable for dissociated cell cultures and acute tissue slices

  • Designed for long-term in vitro electrophysiology experiments

Compatible with Existing MEA Systems

BMSEED's 60-channel glass MEAs are fully compatible with Multi Channel Systems (MCS) MEA amplifiers and recording hardware, allowing laboratories to use BMSEED consumables with their existing equipment. This compatibility makes it easy to expand your experimental capabilities or reduce consumable costs without replacing your current electrophysiology setup.

Applications

BMSEED glass MEAs are widely used for:

  • Neuronal network electrophysiology

  • Cardiac electrophysiology

  • Brain and spinal cord slice recordings

  • Synaptic plasticity studies

  • Drug discovery and neuropharmacology

  • Disease modeling

  • Neurotoxicity and cardiotoxicity testing

  • Stem cell-derived neuron and cardiomyocyte research

Whether you are performing routine electrophysiological recordings or advanced functional studies, BMSEED's glass MEAs provide a robust, high-performance platform for generating reliable and reproducible data.
